Lemon Butter Cookies

Ingredients
2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour
Confectioners sugar for dusting

1. Set oven to 350° Sift flour and baking powder together in a bowl, set aside.
2. In a large bowl, blend butter til light and fluffy, add sugar and continue beating til integrated, add egg and extracts to blend.
3. Add a third of the flour mix to the butter mix at a time until all blended.
4. Make 2" diameter logs and roll into waxed paper.
5. Refrigerate at least 2 hours, then slice and bake 7-10 minutes or until edges become slightly browned.
6. Allow to cool, then toss in confectioners sugar to coat.
